Eye injury in a violinist
Traumatism of an eye in a violinist
An accident is never a coincidence, but sometimes the accidental fact is minimum rare and original. It is the case that happened to this young violinist of 14 students to a music school in the US, at least it was his mother who reports it. It puts in charge the school for poor maintenance of the violin school.
Practicing his instrument, a violin adjustment screw is torn from the end of the instrument and was screened on the face by hitting the right eye of the young violinist.
The shock resulted in a corneal abrasion causing a traumatic cataract and need ophthalmic supported.
The child's mother asked the school of music for damages and reimbursement of medical expenses.
Accidents are multifactorial and even before the seemingly trivial accidents we see that they may not be without consequence. A fine and systematic analysis that excludes the notion of chance would limit the overall accident rate musical institutions in the United States and France.
